Impact

Impact That Builds Readiness

Numinous is designed to strengthen the journey from nursing education to confident, workplace-ready employment.

Our approach to impact

Credible impact begins with honesty about what we have achieved, what we are building toward, and how we measure progress.

Every metric we share is clearly labelled as either an achieved result or a projected target. We never present goals as achievements.

We track completion rates, skill assessments, mentor feedback, and post-program employment outcomes - building an honest picture of what works.

Numinous is a philanthropic initiative born out of the expertise of Ekam Foundation Mumbai, which has been working to empower girls in education through financial assistance, career guidance and counselling, and selective mentorships.

Numinous represents a more specialised and personality-development-driven approach to professional upskilling. This convergence of Ekam’s education and mentorship programs with the Numinous mentorship model creates a comprehensive succession of support for our nursing students through high-value professional training and upskilling.

The journey of every student with us is held together by the belief that human transformation is essential to our impact.

And this is what we want to achieve in our overarching impact!

Theory of change

A simple model connecting our work to real outcomes.

By delivering a 108-hour hybrid mentorship pathway and tracking skill improvement across communication, confidence, teamwork, emergency readiness and well-being, Numinous seeks to reduce employability gaps, strengthen workforce stability, and contribute to long-term economic mobility for nursing graduates while guiding them to take care of themselves along with caring for patients.

Our Theory of Change is grounded in the belief that structured mentor-led, employer-aligned upskilling can measurably improve job readiness and placement outcomes.

Systemic and long-term outcomes support SDGs 3, 4, 5 and 8 by enhancing employability, reducing gender disparities and strengthening frontline healthcare systems.

Inputs - Mentors, curriculum, technology, and hospital partnerships come together to create the program.

Learning Experience - Students engage in 108 hours of mentorship, practice, and career-readiness training.

Readiness Gains - Students build confidence across clinical scenarios, communication skills, and workplace awareness

Employability Outcomes - Graduates enter interviews prepared, with credentials and feedback hospitals trust.

Stronger Workforce - Healthcare systems benefit from nurses who are ready, resilient, and supported from day one.
